LEED for Homes Opens for Second Public Comment Period

The U.S. Green Building Council's (USGBC) LEED for Homes pilot rating system, which has been in pilot phase for more than a year and a half, is now open for the second public comment period.

USGBC held the first public comment period on LEED for Homes from June 13 to July 14. More than 1,100 comments received during the first period were used to help refine the rating system as appropriate. The second public comment period will be open until Sunday, September 9, 2007, closing at midnight PDT.
