Key Glass LLC Awarded Brandon Regional Hospital Project
December 8, 2010

Key Glass LLC., a commercial glazier based in Bradenton, Fla., was recently awarded the contract for the glass and glazing on the Brandon Regional Medical Center in Brandon by Bradenton based General Contractor, PHM Group Inc. The project is a 20,000 square foot renovation of the three story Women's Center. Key Glass says it has worked on numerous health care facilities in its 18 years of business. Construction for this project will begin in December 2010 and is projected to be completed by March 2011.

"While other markets are suffering, our commitment is to focus efforts in the markets that are experiencing growth, such as health care facilities. With our extensive background and experience in healthcare, it allows us to continue to capture those projects" says Key Glass owner Greg Burkhart.

"In addition to Key Glass's experience, we selected Key Glass because of their commitment to meeting the very aggressive project schedule requirements and also gained insight to the functionality of the design which in turn assisted in the other structural aspects of the building system components," adds PHM's field operations manager John Hinson. "When we selected Key Glass we felt it was important to work with a Glazier that understands the codes that need to be met in health care buildings and Key Glass has the knowledge of those strict codes."
