January
2008 Flat Glass Producer Price Index Continues to Rise
The United States Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics
has released its January 2008 producer price index (ppi) for flat
glass. The ppi stands at 114.0, up 0.4 percent from December, following
a 0.3-percent increase from November to December. Overall, prices
for intermediate goods, a category that includes flat glass, moved
up 1.4 percent after falling 0.2 percent in the prior month.
