Ever wonder how one building structure reinforced at critical points would stand up to another using conventional construction standards in a hurricane? The July edition of the USGNN.com newscast, sponsored by USGlass magazine, found out when it attended a demo by the Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS), which pitted two buildings against category three hurricane-grade winds at its Chester County, S.C.-based research center last week. USGlass magazine also conducted exclusive interviews with two IBHS officials.
