An employee of Hartung Glass Industries was injured while working at the company’s plant in Wilsonville, Ore., on Monday, according to a company spokesperson, but now is in stable condition and is expected to recover.

“All safety procedures and equipment were being used,” reads a statement from the company provided to USGNN.com™/USGlass magazine. “A lite of glass broke unexpectedly and a portion cut one of two employees working a cutting table. Hartung plant employees applied emergency medical procedures that greatly helped reduce the injury.”
