Greiwe is a registered architect, accredited interior designer and certified commercial investment member. Previously, he was an architect for Skidmore, Owings and Merrill in Chicago, and also is the past president and principal for Greiwe Incorporated and Greiwe Architects. He was also an adjunct professor at Cincinnati-based Mount St. Joseph College, and was the vice president of business development for Miller-Valentine Commercial Construction and the director of client development for both CFS, a construction services firm, and CR architecture + design.

Greiwe has a bachelor's degrees in architecture from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning.
