Graham Acquires Keystone's Assets

Graham Architectural Products, manufacturer of architectural-grade windows, doors and curtainwall, based in York, Pa., announced yesterday that wholly-owned subsidiary Graham Thermal Products LLC has acquired from the secured lender the product lines, test reports, intellectual property, inventory, machinery and equipment of Keystone Industries Window and Screen Systems Inc.

Keystone, based in New Castle, Pa., is a manufacturer of commercial and energy-efficient thermal window systems and related products. Michael DeRosa, the co-founder of Keystone, will be joining Graham Thermal Products as its president reporting to Brian Hurley, chief executive officer of Graham Architectural Products. DeRosa has more than 21 years of experience in innovative product design and manufacturing.

Graham Thermal Products will operate as a subsidiary of Graham Architectural in a newly leased 45,000 square-foot facility in New Castle and will employs approximately 45 people, many of which were formerly employed by Keystone.

"While the challenging economic times have taken a hard toll on the entire architectural window and fenestration industry, we are very pleased to acquire the product lines and assets of Keystone and to employ such a knowledgeable and talented industry veteran in Michael DeRosa. We are confident that we can bring greater distribution to an excellent complementary and competitive product line and grow Graham Thermal Products accordingly," says Hurley.
