Glaston Announces Changes to Executive Management Group

Glaston Corporation in Finland announces that Topi Saarenhovi, senior vice president, machines, and a member of the company's executive management group, has decided to leave the company, effective February 1, 2011.

The announcement notes that in 2010 Glaston purposefully adjusted its structure to meet the current market situation and a new head of the machines business area will not be appointed. As of February 1, 2011 the machines business area will report directly to Arto Metsänen, chief executive officer and president.
In addition to Metsänen, as of February 1, Glaston's executive management group consists of the following members:

  • Tapio Engström, chief financial officer;
  • Günter Befort, senior vice president, software solutions business area;
  • Juha Liettyä, senior vice president, services business area;
  • Tapani Lankinen, senior vice president, human resources;
  • Pekka Huuhka, senior vice president, supply chain; and
  • Frank Chengdong Zhang, general manager, Asia.
