THAILAND — Glasstech Asia 2012 Underway, Opening Ceremony Features Emerging Issues of Region's Glass Industry

Glasstech Asia 2012 kicked off yesterday in the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) with panel discussions related to challenges felt within Southeast Asia's glass industry, according to event organizers from Conference and Exhibition Management Services (CEMS), the Singapore Glass Association (SGA) and Asianglass.

Event organizers say notable attendees included Tsuchiya Masahiro, the sales executive director for AGC Flat Glass Thailand.

Organizers say they project the expected number of visitors to total 5,000 trade professionals. Approximately 250 exhibitors from about 30 countries are on-hand at the event, which covers approximately 10,000 square meters.
