GANA’s @Glassnation Energy Seminars Broadcast Live on Internet
August 31, 2009
The Glass Association of North America (GANA) announced today that
the energy portion of its Fall Conference, the @Glassnational Energy
Seminars sponsored by Solar Glazing Magazine, will be broadcast
live on GANAs website. The program features presentations
by John Lewis of the National Fenestration Rating Council discussing
the Component Modeling Approach (CMA) Program, Kansas Governor Mark
Parkinson discussing alternative energy sources including solar
glazing, Gary Faykosh of Willard & Kelsey Solar Group discussing
solar energy and Scott Thomsen of Guardian Industries Corp., which
is sponsoring the broadcast of Thomsens presentation, about
opportunities for the glass industry in solar glazing. The event
will be broadcast live at 8 a.m. Central Daylight Time on Thursday,
September 3.
This second year of GANA Live Events online packs a powerful
punch, says Brian Pitman, GANAs director of marketing
and communications. Last year nearly a thousand people tuned
in for our keynote. This year, we anticipate an even wider interest
in our expanded program.
The GANA Fall Conference begins today and runs through Thursday
in Kansas City, Mo.
