Glass TEXpo™ 2006 Offers Fun and Games

It's not just about education at Glass TEXpo 2006; the bi-annual event includes social activities, some of which are as much anticipated as the seminars offered during the day.
TEXpo 2006 is co-sponsored by the Texas Glass Association (TGA), USGlass and AGRR magazines.

This year, TEXpo attendees can expect the annual TGA golf outing on Thursday, April 6.
Play begins at 1 p.m. at the Cedar Creek Golf Course and the fee is $150 per individual (which includes golf cart rental, food, drinks, range balls and prizes). Prizes will be awarded to the first three teams for both gross and net scores, as well as the longest drive and closest to the pin. Teams can win only one trophy.

The fun continues the next day, April 7, when Craftsman Fabricated Glass is hosting a cocktail party on the floor of the TEXpo trade show. Show hours begin at 2 p.m. and the cocktail party kicks off at 4 p.m. The cocktail party and the trade show wrap up at 6 p.m., after which Donn Harter will deliver the event's keynote speech. After Harter's speech, is the annual Texas Glass Association's Casino Night-always a good time.

The trade show runs from 2-6 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 8 and seminars surround the show.

TEXpo 2006 will be held at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center in San Antonio. The headquarters hotel is the Marriott San Antonio Riverwalk.
