The United States Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics has released its November 2007 import and export price index update. Overall, the U.S. Import Price Index increased 2.7 percent in November. The growth was the largest monthly increase since October 1990. Export prices also increased in November, rising 0.9 percent in November after a 0.8 percent increase in October. The import price index for glass and glassware increased a meager 0.6 percent from October to November, while the export price index increased a slight 0.1 percent.
