Guru, headquartered in Roseville, Calif., has launched new franchises
in California, Oregon, Texas and Florida.

The Glass Guru of Stockton, Calif. The couple had previously operated
an Internet sales business while Chuck worked during the day in

opened The Glass Guru of Modesto in the neighboring territory to
the south. The company now has 16 locations operating in California.
Also in April, Dale Cook of Lake Oswego, Ore., launched The Glass
Guru of Portland Westside, becoming the first location operating
in the greater Portland market. Cook came out of career in remodeling
and real estate and sees huge potential is his area for The Glass
Guru 's moisture removal services for failed insulated units.
In May and June, The Glass Guru added two more locations, each
becoming the first company units in Texas and Florida. Brothers
Ted and Aaron Halladay opened The Glass Guru of Frisco. The Halladay's
were previously engaged in a landscaping business in the area. Rick
Hey opened The Glass Guru of Jacksonville. Hey came out of a 16-year
career in specialized printing services.
"We are bringing new meaning to the term full service,"
states founder and chief executive officer Dan Frey. "It's
our goal to have 350 locations operating by 2015. We have a way
to go, but the market and the demand is definitely there."
