Glass Doctor President Mark Dawson Resigns
December 14, 2011
Mark Dawson has resigned as president of Glass Doctor, effective
immediately, to pursue other ventures, according to an announcement
from the company. Current vice president of operations Mark Liston
will assume the role of president.
Dawson has served as president of the company since July 2005. Prior
to that, he served as vice president of operations for the Waco,
Texas-based company, which is a part of the Dwyer Group. Prior to
that, he was a Glass Doctor franchisee for 13 years.
"It is hard to believe that I have been a part of the Glass
Doctor family for over 20 years, and it has been my honor to lead
the Glass Doctor team as president for the last six and a half years,"
Dawson says.
Liston has been in the role of vice president at Glass Doctor for
the past two years and has more than 30 years of franchising management
experience, according to the company. He previously worked for Clockwork
Home Services as vice president of sales and marketing and at Valpak
as director of new franchise development. Liston serves as chair
of the Board of Governors for the International Franchise Association's
(IFA) Institute of Certified Franchise Executives program. He is
also a member of Board of Trustees for IFA's Educational Foundation.
