George
Sutorka of Arch Aluminum Passes Away
George Sutorka, laminated operations manager of Arch Aluminum &
Glass, passed away this past weekend after a recent illness. Sutorka
had been with the company since 1992 and was an integral part of
the explosive growth of Arch.
"When George started we had one laminated plant and he had to
supply the entire company," says Max Perilstein, vice president
of marketing. "He had a ton of patience to deal with all of us as
we kept on adding branches and people. He truly was a good man and
a pleasure to work with. We are all very saddened by his passing
and he will be missed."
Sutorka had been in the laminated industry for many years before
joining Arch and is well known in those circles. He would have turned
70 this December.
Details on any memorial arrangements will be forthcoming.
