Expected to Re-Launch Carolina Mirror Brand
There has been recent buzz in the industry that Gardner Glass of
North Wilkesboro, N.C.
has quietly decided to quit making and marketing framed mirrors
under the "Carolina Mirror" name. Not so says company
president, Tommy Huskey.
When asked about the future of the Carolina Mirror name, Huskey
told USGNN that the company is proud of the name and has no intention
of replacing it. He issued the following formal statement to quell
the industry talk of the demise of Carolina Mirror:
"During 2005, Gardner Glass Products introduced and implemented

Mirror business model is in a state of transition, but the demand
for Decorative Products continues to grow, and our Carolina Mirror
brand name will be in the market in the future to meet this growing

which has thrived in the mirror industry for 70 years. We currently
have several marketing initiatives under consideration for a relaunch
of this outstanding brand."
Gardner had purchased the right to use the Carolina Mirror name
for its framed mirror line in 2002.
