Glass Performance Days India 2013 Now Accepting Session Proposals

Glass Performance Days India (GPDI) 2013 currently is accepting paper proposals for session topics for its third annual event, set to take place March 19-20 in Mumbai, according to the GPDI Organizing Committee.

GPDI is held in conjunction with Glasspex India's International Exhibition for Glass Production Processing Products. GPDI will focus on "Energy Efficiency, Solar and Glass Technology in Warm Climates," in addition to the main GPD 2013 theme for all events, "Energy Management, Solar and Glass Technology."

"The energy management in warm climates faces challenges in the area of building insulation. Cooling buildings leads to increased energy consumption and energy related costs. Existing technologies in the glass industry may be implemented to tackle these issues," according to the GPDI Organizing Committee.
