Industry Veteran Jim Ventre Joins Gardner Glass Products

Gardner Glass Products in North Wilkesboro, N.C., has hired Jim Ventre as national accounts manager

"Jim is highly respected in the industry and his vast industry knowledge and contact network make him a perfect fit here at GGP," says Tommy Huskey, chief executive officer.

Ventre entered the glass industry in 1983 with Floral Glass Industries in Chesire, Conn. Since that time, he has built extensive experience in outside sales, sales management and branch management experience, as well as customer relationships on a national level. He has worked for several companies within the industry over the years, including Gardner Glass Products in the late '90s. He most recently served as national sales manager for the former Vitro America.

"Having known Jim for over 20 years and through working with him at Glass Association of North America functions, I have always been impressed by his focus, energy and positive attitude," says Randy Brooks, president. "He will be an integral part of the team as we continue to expand our Dreamwalls sales and marketing efforts."

Ventre is currently chairman of the GANA Mirror Division. He resides in Georgia with his wife and is the father of six children, one of whom is a captain in the U.S. Army.
