March 15, 2011
Companies are continuing to sign up for Glass Expo Northeast™ (GENE), which opens in just two days. Solar Seal, Custom Glass Machinery and Research Frontiers are the latest to join the show which will take place this Thursday and Friday, March 17-18 at the Hyatt Regency Long Island at the Wind Watch Hotel & Golf Club in Hauppauge, N.Y.
Solar Seal in South Easton, Mass., will feature a range of architectural products. The company offers insulating glass, commercial entrances, shower enclosures and much more.
Likewise, Custom Glass Machinery (CGM) based in Columbus, Ohio, will also be at the show. CGM will feature Dip-Tech’s GlassJet digital frit printer, as well as many other decorative processes and coatings solutions. CGM brings glass science, materials engineering, and decades of glass experience to the marketplace. The company’s Matthew Tangeman says this is its first industry show under the CGM banner.
Based in Woodbury, N.Y., Research Frontiers will also be on hand with its glazing products. The company offers energy-efficient SPD smart glass it says can instantly and precisely control the amount of light, glare and heat entering offices, homes and vehicles.
Glass Expo Northeast is co-sponsored by the Long Island Glass Association, USGlass, DWM and WINDOW FILM magazines, and is the region's largest conference and trade show dedicated to the architectural glass and metal industry. In addition to the trade show, it also includes seminars and networking opportunities.
