GENE
Seminars to Focus on Timely Flat Glass Topics
Glass Expo Northeast (GENE), the region's largest conference and
trade show dedicated to the flat glass and metal industry and auto
glass industries, will take place at the Hyatt Regency Long Island
Wind Watch Hotel & Golf Club March 25-26, 2009. The event promises
top-notch education, training and networking opportunities close
to home at affordable prices. In fact, GENE will offer a number
of seminars and workshops focused on some of the most pertinent
topics and trends facing the architectural market, including an
update of the contract glazing industry.
The world of contract glazing is ever-changing and in order to
remain competitive in this dynamic environment glass companies need
to know what's coming ahead and what is here now that can impact
their business. On Wednesday, March 25 from 1- 2 p.m., an afternoon
discussion will provide attendees with updates on some of the changes
taking place within the glass and glazing industry.
A number of other topics that the architectural seminar track will
cover include how glass shops can survive a tough economy; hurricane
glazing; energy-efficient glazing and many others.
