Glass Expo Midwest™ Opens Today

The Glass Expo Midwest seminar and workshop program opened today in Schaumburg, Ill. A number of presentations took place that focused specifically on the needs of the architectural glass market.

Gary Wallman from C.R. Laurence in Los Angeles talked about the proper way to install shower doors. Tom Minnon of YKK talked about LEED® and building fenestration design. Michael Collins of Jordan, Knauff & Co., lead two discussions—one on Building Information Modeling and one on handling Chinese product recalls; and Paul Duffer, retired senior research associate of PPG Industries in Pittsburgh talked about runoff and glass.

A trade show is also taking place this evening. The event continues through tomorrow.
