GEMS '08 to Host Networking Opportunities

Glass Expo Midwest™ (GEMS) 2008 is set to take place December 8-10 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel & Convention Center in suburban Chicago. The event will offer two days of seminars, workshops, a trade show and opportunities for networking. In fact, 94 percent of previous years' attendees say that GEMS is the only glass industry event they would attend this year. Of that 94 percent, 92 percent say GEMS is the only trade show of any kind they will attend all year. These figures are evidence that the Midwest relies on GEMS as its main marketplace, so the event's networking opportunities provide an ideal setting for suppliers and customers alike to meet and greet.

A welcoming cocktail/holiday party sponsored by Gunther Mirror Mastics will take place on Tuesday, December 9 at 6 p.m. Celebrity Santas will also be on the scene—make sure you're there and see if you can guess who they are.

To ensure your participation in GEMS 2008, pre-register to save time and money with reduced fees and no long lines on show days. Pre-registration closes at the end of business on November 28, 2008. Full-registration is free to co-sponsoring association members who pre-register.
