The Glass Association of North America has formed an Energy Committee devoted exclusively to a focus on the role of glass in both conserving and producing energy. The committee, which will be meeting today as part of Glass Week, is aiming to look at such issues as how glass can earn LEED credits, recycling of glass materials and the future development of glass in harnessing solar energy, photovoltaics and coatings technologies.
