GANA Named as Co-Sponsor of Glass Processing Days

(TOPEKA) - The Glass Association of North America (GANA) has been named as an official co-sponsor of Glass Processing Days, a premier international educational event to be held June 15-18, 2007, in Tampere, Finland. The event occurs biannually, and has been recognized for its excellent technical presentations for the glass and glazing industry.

"Sponsorship of Glass Processing Days is a great step for GANA," said Stan Smith, Executive Vice-President of the organization. "GANA is a leader in the architectural glass and glazing field in North America, and the synergy created with this event will be an excellent platform for increasing global efforts of the industry."

"The GPD has earned a solid reputation as a respected forum for specialists on the processing, marketing and use of glass among industry decision makers, designers, architects, researchers and processors worldwide," says Jorma Vitkala, Chairman of the GPD Conference Organizing Committee. "We take special pride in the co-sponsorship and prospects of working together with GANA. It is also a fine example of how transatlantic cooperation can effectively serve to boost the interest and involvement in the June 2007 conference."
