May 18, 2010
The Glass Association of North America (GANA) announced today that
it is sponsoring a presentation titled The Art and Science of
Glass at NeoCon in Chicago. The presentation will offer insight
on the artistic, environmental and technical considerations associated
with the installation of glass and its ethereal and psychological
impact on architectural spaces from its panelists. The panel includes
Charles Rizzo, president of Skyline Design, designer Suzanne Tick
and Al Leonard, vice president of sales for Trainor Glass Co.
"We are very excited by this presentation," said Ashley
Charest, GANA account executive. "With a tremendous audience
at NeoCon, our goal is to continue to educate designers on the many
ways glass is opening several options in daylighting and natural
design."
The Art and Science of Glass will be held from 10:30-11:30
a.m. on Tuesday, June 15. The presentation provides 0.1 CEU credits
and costs $45 to attend.
NeoCon will be held at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago June 14-16,
and is expected to attract more than 40,000 architecture and design
professionals.
