EFCO® Announces Springfield Service Center
Grand Opening
August 3, 2010
EFCO, a Pella Company, recently opened its doors to a new service
center in centrally-located Springfield, Mo. According to EFCO's
director of storefront, James Bateman, the facility will manufacture
and provide coast-to-coast access to stock lengths, fabricated materials
and EFCO entrance doors for commercial construction needs.
The renovated facility at 2030 North Alliance in Springfield, Mo.,
had its grand opening July 23, 2010. Customers invited to the grand
opening toured the facility, and watched demonstrations of new CNC
technology, automated positioning systems and estimating/CAD software.
"Our goal in expanding to Springfield is to provide service
and storefront product capability that will support EFCO customers
with shorter lead-times and reduced freight costs," Bateman
said.
In addition to the new service center in Springfield, EFCO also
operates three other service centers in Las Vegas, Chicago, and
Verona, Va., and distribution centers in Denver, Phoenix, Salt Lake
City and in Lubbock and Wylie, Texas.
