UK Energy Efficiency Seminar Sells Out in Record Time
Edgetech UK's industry-wide seminar, Increase Your Profits: Energy Efficiency
in Focus, has had more bookings than the venue, the Conventry, England
Ricoh Arena, can hold, according to a news release from Edgetech.
To be held on May 10, 2006, the seminar will provide a forum for
the UK fenestration market to learn about the rapidly changing energy
efficiency issues and environmental legislation occurring in the
Building regulation and energy experts such as British Fenestration
Rating Council, FaberMaunsell and Energy Saving Trust will speak
at the seminar. Saint Gobain Solaglas and Edgetech IG will also
present information on the latest advances in high performance glass
coatings and warm edge technology.
"Our industry underwent massive changes in 2005 and this looks
set to continue in 2006," said Andy Jones, sales director and
general manager of Edgetech UK. "Thanks to new legislation
and other industry-wide initiatives on energy efficiency, there
are significant opportunities out there for any ambitious company--whether
fabricator, sealed unit manufacturer, installer, system company,
specifier, glass processor or machinery supplier--to exploit. This
seminar will present the facts. Companies can't afford to stand
still to see what others will do before acting themselves, particularly
in a market as competitive as the glass and window industry."
Registered delegates include systems companies; machinery and glass
firms; fabricators and installers; architects and local authority
specifiers; and many of the UK industry's trade associations.
