DORMA Group North America Creates DORMA Entrance
Systems Division
DORMA Group North America has announced the creation of the DORMA Entrance
Systems (DES) division. The new DES unit will incorporate DORMA
Automatics, Crane Revolving Door and Carolina Door Controls under
a single management focus and will offer a broad assortment of commercial
facility entrance capabilities and products in the areas of pedestrian
flow, safety and security.

the North American market. They support our current expansion and
prepare us for the longer term," says Larry O'Toole, chief

of DORMA Entrance Systems underscores our mission to offer a simple,

revolving and automatic door systems."
Crane Revolving Door in Lake Bluff, Ill., is a revolving door brand.
Working in partnership with its customers to achieve each architect's
or designer's vision, Crane's iron workers, sculptors and artisans
use varied materials, from stainless steel, bronze and nickel to
silver, wood and aluminum, to craft elegant and functional entrances.
DORMA Automatics, also headquartered in Lake Bluff, Ill., designs
and markets an extensive and innovative line of sliding, swinging,
folding and revolving door systems to a wide range of applications
with particular focus on the healthcare and hospitality industries.
Carolina Door Controls, Inc. (CDC) of Durham, N.C., is a distributor
of automatic doors with regional offices throughout the Eastern
United States. CDC specializes in sales, installation and service
of automatic doors and entrance systems for commercial and industrial
applications.
