Diamon-Fusion International Inc., Irvine, Calif., has partnered with Lisec Corp., Austria, according to an Aug. 1 release. DFI will now offer its Clear-Fusion V coating line on Lisec hydrophobic automatic coating machine to advance the options for protective coating coverage for all glass manufacturers. Utilizing one of DFI's protective coating lines with the Lisec automated machinery, glass manufactures can access an automated coating system to provide another effective method for coating glass, while providing a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

The Lisec hydrophobic coating machine is available in three different configurations for varying customer requirements and can integrate into existing manufacturing lines.

“Extending our hydrophobic coating machinery to include DFI superior protective coatings enhances our glass protection product options for automated manufacturing lines, giving our valued clients a distinct competitive advantage in the marketplace," said Johann Weixlberger, director of new business development, Lisec Corp., in the release.

“This partnership with Lisec adds an effective automated application to cover all our product lines in the glass manufacturing process,” said Guillermo Seta, corporate vice president and executive director, DFI, in the release. “This is, however, only the first step as we are collaborating with Lisec to even further expand our industrial flexibility. As we continue to innovate, it is our goal to solidify our company as not only the world's leading coating supplier but a solutions-driven partner."
