Fletcher-Terry Forms New Industrial Glass Cutting Business Unit
November 12, 2010

Fletcher-Terry LLC in Farmington, Conn., recently announced the creation of a dedicated operating unit to focus and grow its industrial glass cutting business in the global market place.

“This is the result of our long-term strategic planning announced at the beginning of 2010 by the new ownership management team,” says Blair Tomalonis, president. ”Glass cutting started this company back in 1868 and we see tremendous opportunity in the global market.”

The formulation of the new business unit brings a number of personnel changes.

Brian Cone, a 13-year veteran of Fletcher-Terry, has been appointed product manager for the industrial business. Cone will work closely with its domestic and international customers and will head up new product development for the industrial group.

John Wu has been hired to penetrate the China glass market and will be operating out of the Chinese sales office and manufacturing facility.

Wanda Rivera also has joined the industrial team and will be the main contact for all customer service related topics; Rivera is a 6-year veteran Fletcher representative.
