March 12, 2010
Custom-Bilt Metals in Chino, Calif., has joined the PPG Certified
Metal Panel Program (PPG/CMPP), which is administered by the PPG
coil and extrusion coatings group. According to the company announcement,
the certification program is designed to give architects a direct
channel to metal panel manufacturers certified by PPG to apply high-performance
Duranar, Duranar ULTRA-Cool and Coraflon fluoropolymer coatings
to metal building components, and/or to specify, design, fabricate
and/or install aluminum components pre-painted with these coatings.
Tony Chiovare, president of Custom-Bilt Metals, said his company
is pleased to be the first West Coast firm in PPG/CMPP.
"Custom-Bilt Metals has always been on the leading edge of
innovation for metal panel and roof performance and design,"
Chiovare says. "The expanded partnership with PPG is the latest
step in our ongoing commitment to deliver high-quality painted metal
panel and roof solutions to architects and builders throughout the
West Coast, Gulf Coast and Hawaii."
