Crystal Introduces New Aluminum Window Line

Crystal Window & Door Systems has launched a new line of projected aluminum windows. The series 8000 includes project-in, project -out, swing-in casement, swing-out casement, picture/fixed and special architectural shape windows styles. The company says the new models are AAMA tested and achieved "Architectural Window" (AW) ratings of AW 70 or AW 85.

The new series features a 2 1/4-inch frame depth that is designed for heavy-duty commercial, institutional and residential applications.

The windows use .125-inch thick quality aluminum extrusions. One-inch insulating glass units that use PPG's Intercept warm edge spacer system are standard, with ¼-inch single glazing as an option.

Double bulb weather stripping and heavy-duty locking handles and keepers are used on all operating sashes, according to the company.
