Crowdis Elected AEC Vice Chairman

Duncan Crowdis, president of Bonnell Aluminum in Newnan, Ga.,
has been elected vice chairman of the Aluminum Extruders Council
(AEC) in Wauconda, Ill. Crowdis joins three other members of the
AEC board of directors' executive committee, including Chairman
Thomas Schabel, chief executive officer of Alexandria Extrusion
Co. in Alexandria, Minn.; at-large member Curt Rone, chief financial
officer of The Loxcreen Co. in West Columbia, S.C.; and immediate
past chairman Craig Werner, president of Werner Extrusion Solutions
in Lake Forest, Ill.
Crowdis has been on the AEC board and held the position of extruder
director since 2006. He is a 35-year veteran of the aluminum industry
and has held various positions, including those in technical, operations,
marketing, sales and general management.
