CONSTRUCT2011 to Take Place in the Windy City
November 19, 2009
CONSTRUCT has announced the dates and venue for the 2011 event.
In conjunction with the 55th CSI Annual Convention, CONSTRUCT2011
will be held September 14-16, 2011 at McCormick Place's Lakeside
Center in Chicago.
Show organizers say that producing the event in the "windy
city" offers a large demographic population from which to draw.
According to the Chicago Visitors and Convention Bureau, more than
8.5 million people live in the metropolitan area and more people
travel there for overnight business trips than any other destination
in the country. "We look forward to Chicago. It's centrally
located, easy to access, non-stop, from across the United States
and offers world-class amenities and business opportunities that
support a successful event," says Jayne Dalton, show manager.
"And McCormick Place is just minutes from downtown."
The exhibits will span three days, September 14-16, and the education
will be offered over four days, September 13-16. This event encompasses
the planning, design, engineering, specifying, construction, renovation
and operation within the commercial building industry. CONSTRUCT
offers the latest products and solutions to architects, engineers,
facility managers/owners, specifiers, designers, general contractors
and non-residential building professionals. It also offers a uniquely
designed accredited education program, expanded networking, special
activities, a full exhibit hall floor and CSI member events.
