Glass Artists Invited to Enter National Competition

Glass artists from around the nation are being called to compete in the Banana Factory's inaugural Fire & Ice Glass Masters Competition. The Bethlehem, Pa., glass gallery is holding a juried competition where artists will compete for cash prizes, while helping the Banana Factory raise funds for its artistic and educational programs for children and the Pennsylvania community.

The Glass Masters contest is open to all artists working in glass. All artists are asked to donate their work for the Banana Factory's Fire & Ice gala, which is the Factory's annual fundraiser. Winners of the glass competition will be announced at the gala on October 19.

Cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place, with a first place award of $1,500. Artists interested in entering the competition should submit their original glasswork with the official Glass Masters entry form, available by calling 610/332-1300 or CLICK HERE.

Submissions will be accepted from August 15 through September 15.
