C.R. Laurence Co. Inc. (CRL) has announced that, due to expanded
capabilities at its new 270,000-square-foot manufacturing facility
in Los Angeles, it is now manufacturing more customized versions
of its full range of drive-thru and transaction windows and accessories.
According to CRL's announcement, it has previously offered made-to-order
sizes, finishes and glazing options, but now is able to create
whole new versions of basic windows to address unique user needs.
"Customization can range from high-tech features, such as
programming microprocessors of electronic service windows to perform
special functions, to low-tech modifications in our most basic
steel pass-thru trays and drawers," said John Bower, technical
representative. "These customizing services are available
not only to architects, but to our glazing shop customers as well."
