Ken Brenden, chief designer for Wausau, Wis.-based Wausau Window
and Wall Systems, was recently honored with the American Architectural
Manufacturers Association (AAMA) Architectural Products Group
Distinguished Service Award. The award was presented at AAMA's
67th national annual meeting.
The distinguished service award recognizes individuals for dedicated
service, personal contributions and outstanding participation
as a member of the Architectural Products Group. Brenden has served
Wausau as the company's AAMA voting representative since 1993
and currently serves as second vice president of the association's
curtainwall/ storefront/sloped glazing council. He is also chairman
of the thermal barrier and board research committee task groups.
"I'm thankful that Wausau has provided me with the opportunity
to participate in this important association," said Brenden.
"AAMA has enabled me to expand my knowledge, allowed me to
assist in developing important fenestration standards and helped
me to make some very good friends along the way."
