Bohle America Hosts Glass Cutting and Bonding Workshop
March 9, 2009
|Frank Ruzicka demonstrated to Edgardo Torres
from Glass 2000 Inc. how to achieve ideal cutting results.
Bohle American recently hosted its first workshop for contract
glaziers; the workshop focused on glass cutting and bonding techniques
and technologies. At the end of February more than a dozen glaziers
came to the company's U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, N.C., to participate
in the workshop.
Frank Ruzicka, a master glazier who has been with Bohle since 1984,
instructed the two-day workshop. Ruzicka shared much of his knowledge
gained from more than 30 years of experience working with glass.
Aside from imparting theoretical information, the main focus of
the workshop was on practical application of what had been learned.
Participants spent much of the workshop time cutting thick glass
and bonding CD stands, among other things.
The next seminars on glass cutting and glass bonding will take
place in Charlotte between May 11 and 16. Visit www.bohle-america.com
