Jim Blevins Passes Away

Jim Blevins, a 42-year veteran of the glass and aluminum industry, passed away Monday night, January 12, after complications from cardiac surgery.

Blevins was 61 and began work with AMARLITE in 1961. He stayed with company after it was acquired by Arch Aluminum & Glass. He was known for his love of Cleveland, his sense of humor and his vast knowledge of AMARLITE material.

"We, and our industry, lost an incredible person in Jim," said Leon Silverstein, Arch president and chief executive officer. "He will be sorely missed."
