Barber's Collingwood Location to be Liquidated by Danbury
February 14, 2011

The complete contents of the Barber Glass Industries Collingwood, Ontario, manufacturing facility are being liquidated by the Danbury Group located in Toronto. Earlier this month an Ontario Court approved a motion made by Grant Thornton Ltd., the court-appointed receiver of Barber Glass, to auction off the assets of the company’s facilities in Collingwood and Guelph, Ontario.

Some of the equipment pieces and machinery being sold include a laminated glass production line, an autoclave, water-jet cutting equipment, a loading and cutting line, vertical seaming equipment, a tempering furnace, edging equipment, insulating glass machinery, a coating line, as well as racks, carts, lifting equipment and much more.
The equipment is for sale by immediate private negotiation and a viewing appointment is required.

The contents of the Guelph facility will be auctioned next month by Asset Engineering.
