Bekaert Appoints Market Manager for North America

Bekaert has announced the appointment of Peter Andries as market manager in North America for the Bekaert Sputter Products division, effective immediately. In his new position, Andries will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities in North America. He will be the primary contact person for all existing customers of Bekaert's Rotatable Sputter solutions and will handle queries from prospective customers. Andries will be based at Bekaert's facilities in Spring Green, Wis.

According to information from the company, Andries has played an active role over the past several years as the company's customer service technician in North America.

"Mr. Andries can draw for this new position from his years of experience with Bekaert customers and customized sputter solutions to offer an exceptional level of strategic support," says Rémy Rochard, general manager of sputter products. "We are confident that his enthusiasm and dedication will significantly contribute to addressing the needs and demands of a challenging market."

In addition, Thomas Ray will be joining the North American team as an internal sales reinforcement. Ray brings a hands-on mentality, strong sales experience and a proactive attitude.

"These new appointments will extend Bekaert's criteria for customer success - careful listening, mutual trust and win-win cooperation," adds Rémy Rochard. "Our commercial team has a solid base of competence that will effectively drive further optimization of our North American customer service organization."
