 
BLS Says Import-Export Prices on Glass are
Relatively Unchanged for September

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that U.S. import prices
fell 0.3 percent in September following a 0.6-percent increase the
previous month. In contrast, the price index for U.S. exports rose
0.6 percent in September after a 0.8-percent rise in August.
Looking at glass and glassware specifically, the import price index
increased 0.1 percent from 115.7 in August 2010 to 115.8 in September
2010. Exports of glass and glassware also increased 0.1 percent
from 97.1 to 97.2 for the same period. See the charts below for
