Art Glass Show Separates from the Art Glass Association

Offinger Management Co., owner and manager of the Art Glass Show, announced that it will no longer manage the Art Glass Association as of January 18, 2004.

"It was a decision made with a heavy heart," said president and CEO Walter Offinger.

Requests from members of the association's board to set up systems outside of those already established by the management company was the reason cited for the split. Offinger's systems are in accordance with its ISO 9001 registration, and the American Society of Association Executives.

"If the board chooses to implement different systems that those we use, it takes away our efficiencies to the membership as a full-service association management company," said Offinger.

Offinger will continue to own, produce and manage the Art Glass Show, which is scheduled for July 8-11 in Portland, Oregon.
