Owner of Arizona Shower Door Arrested in Plot to Kill Wife

Phoenix police arrested Fred Knadler, owner of Arizona Shower Door in Phoenix, Ariz., for allegedly conspiring to kill his wife of 18 years, Libia Knadler, according to a January 18 KPHO.com article. Court records show that Knadler's wife, Libia, had filed for divorce in September 2011 and demanded a large settlement. The large settlement was deemed to be a motive in the alleged conspiracy.

Phoenix police say Knadler tried to hire one of his employees at Arizona Shower Door, and offered him thousands of dollars to help him get rid of his wife's body. The employee recorded that conversation and handed it over to the police.

Arizona Shower Door declined to comment on the matter.
