American Defense Systems Inc. to Produce Armored Crew Protection Kits for JCB

American Defense Systems Inc. in Hicksville, N.Y., a designer, fabricator and installer of transparent and opaque armor, security doors, windows and curtainwall systems, has been awarded a contract from JCB Inc., a manufacturer of heavy construction and agricultural equipment, to produce Crew Protection Kits for the United Kingdom Ministry of Defense. The kits will be installed on the High Mobility Engineer Excavator, an engineering vehicle with bucket and backhoe capabilities that can produce road speeds in excess of 60 mph.
