First All in Glass Attracts Visitors from 49 Countries
The first All in Glass 2007: China International Exhibition for
Glass Technology in Guangzhou, China, attracted more than 100 exhibitors
and 4,381 visitors from 49 countries. The event, held November 21-24,
was jointly organized by the China Foreign Trade Centre (Group)
and Messe Düsseldorf China Ltd.
Exhibitors
displayed technology and products for the glass industry over 86,000
square feet of exhibit space. Among the featured exhibitors were
Schott AG, Schüco International, LISEC Shanghai Glass Technology
Co. Ltd., Glaston Corp., Bystronic Glass Machinery (Shanghai) Co.
Ltd., Vesuvius Zyarock Ceramics (Suzhou) Co. Ltd., Koreart Corp.,
CSG Holdings, Guangdong Yihai Machinery Manufacturing Co. Ltd. and
Zhongshan Fushan Glass Machinery Co. Ltd.
In addition to the exhibits, attendees were able to attend the
China International High and New Glass Technologies and Building
Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) Forum, which discussed topics such
as energy-saving glass technology and applications, environmental
protection technology and applications, new machinery and equipment,
solar energy photovoltaic glass technology, low reflection glass
technology and building integrated photovoltaics. The forum also
featured a special session on BIPV, analyzing the demand for energy-saving
glass on both domestic and overseas markets. Schüco International,
Schott Solar and Guangdong Golden Glass Technologies Ltd. demonstrated
their related products and technologies in the BIPV section.
The next All in Glass is scheduled for 2009.
