Research Inc. Announces Two Personnel Changes
Glen
Rock, Pa.-based Adhesives Research Inc. has announced two promotions
within its quality and compliance department.
Mary Gallagher has been named the company's new global vice president
of quality and compliance. In this position, she has responsibility
for managing the overall quality systems activities and compliance
programs at the company's manufacturing locations in Glen Rock and
Limerick, Ireland. This includes management of the quality control/quality
engineering, quality assurance and environmental health and safety
functional areas, as well as supplier quality and regulatory affairs.
Gallagher joined the company in 1998 as the quality and regulatory
affairs manager for Adhesives Research Ireland Ltd., where she was
instrumental in executing all validation and quality system certifications
for the opening of the Limerick manufacturing facility. Prior to
coming to Adhesives Research, she held several senior quality management
positions in medical device manufacturing and contract product design.
Gallagher has a bachelor's degree in science from University College
Galway in Ireland.
Gregory
Young has been promoted to director of quality and compliance for
the company's facility at its corporate headquarters in Glen Rock.
He is responsible for the management of the quality systems and
compliance programs at this location and reports directly to Gallagher.
Young has been with Adhesives Research since 1997, most recently
as the medical/pharmaceutical operations manager, where he was responsible
for the manufacturing of all medical and pharmaceutical products,
as well as medical and pharmaceutical process engineering and warehousing/material
handling.
Prior to joining
Adhesives Research, he held several positions in process and project
engineering in the medical and pharmaceutical industries. Young
has a master's degree in biomedical engineering from Fairleigh Dickinson
University and a bachelor's degree in biology and chemistry from
Skidmore College.
