AIA 2007 Opens Tomorrow with an Eye on Green

Responding to the country's "green" movement, "Growing Beyond Green" will be the theme for the 2007 American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Convention and Design Exposition. The event opens tomorrow in San Antonio at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center and runs through Saturday, May 5.

Show organizers say 800 companies will be on hand offering new products, technologies and services for the entire architectural construction industry. In addition to seeing the latest from exhibitors, attendees can also take part in 250 continuing education courses.

The glass and glazing industry will certainly not be without representation at the show. Float glass manufacturers and fabricators, curtainwall and hardware companies, decorative glass, safety, security and fire-rated glazing suppliers will all be on hand.
