AFG Glass Announces Three New Appointments
AFG Industries President and chief executive officer Brad Kitterman
has appointed Toshiro Kasuya as director of planning and Tadayuki
Oi as vice president, technical development and chief technical
officer for the company. Additionally, the company has announced
the promotion of Dana Duval to operations manager for the company's
Residential Fabrication plant in Jacksonville, Fla.

Previously serving as general manager of planning and coordination
for AGC flat glass Japan/Asia, Tokyo, Kasuya will relocate to the
AFG corporate office in Atlanta, Ga. In the new assignment, Kasuya
will report to the vice president and chief financial officer and
be responsible for a variety of analytical and reporting projects.

Tadayuki Oi |
Currently, Oi is an executive officer with Asahi Glass Company
and general manager of Japan Division, Japan/Asia, Flat Glass Company.
In his new assignment, Oi will be responsible for developing and
executing the strategic and long-term goals and objectives of the
research and development (R&D), technical development and technical
services organizations for AFG Industries. He will be responsible
for the management of the Petaluma, C
alif. R&D facility and its research efforts, product development,
coordinating with the AGC research and development community and
managing shared development efforts, providing technical and process
support to the primary, coating and fabrication processes and providing
technical support to customers and resolving product problems. Oi
will be transferring to Atlanta, Ga., with the relocation of the
AFG's corporate headquarters.
Duval served as district manager for Harding Glass in the Dallas/Fort
Worth market prior to joining AFG. He joined AFG as production supervisor
for the company's Hebron, Ohio facility.
In 2003, he was promoted and relocated to the company's Jacksonville
operation as plant manager.
