The American Architectural Manufacturers Association's (AAMA) 71st Annual Conference opened yesterday at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, Calif. The meeting kicked off yesterday afternoon with a number of meetings, including reports from the Curtain Wall Fastener Task Group, the Aluminum Storefront Door Task Group and Door Hardware Task Group. Meetings continued today with a gathering of the Coastal Coating Subcommittee, Architectural and Residential Codes Working Group and Impact Certification Labeling Task Group, among several others. Back by popular demand, financial and economic journalist and TV host Stuart Varney presented today's keynote address, "A New Day in America: Its Economy, Its Politics and Its Culture."
